**THE LETTER IS NOW SENT AND FILED - PLEASE SEE RELATED POST**
We have put together a letter to send to the Councillors who will be considering Persimmon's Bassetts Farm application for approval or rejection.
The letter outlines, point by point, where we feel the application falls short of regulations, local needs and sensitivities, and fails to meet the standards required by statute.
There is also an Annex document which goes into much more detail to each point.
We would like to invite you to give your feedback to us on this letter and the Annex by 30 May. This means that we have time to incorporate useful comments before sending the letter to each of the Councillors on the planning committee, who we hope will then clearly see the only response to this application is to deny it.
Lobbying councillors is perfectly acceptable practice and allows us to draw their attention to details they may not otherwise have time to scrutinize, and to highlight the concerns of the village.
The date of the planning meeting is still to be confirmed - we will keep you posted.
